They have just had a huge investement into the company reflecting their market position and future growth expectations.There is now an opportunity for a Data Manager to join their dynamic team based in Central London. You will be working in a newly refurbished office overlooking the River Thames in a role that offers a new challenge and plenty of scope for progression. Responsibilities include composing a highly cost efficient overall strategy and tactical plan for raising data quality to equal or exceed its competitors.Also Identifying, evaluating and selecting data sources and vendors; Managing a budget for data acquisition and maintenance; Investigating data content, structure and availability. You will have MYSQL DBA experience, as well as being able to evaluate, select and manage data vendors; Manage technical architecture for multiple, integrated, databases supporting disparate applications; You will have 7x24 online web database management and business-orientated data analyst experience; Business Intelligence tools such as Business Objects and Pentaho. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong motivational and leadership skills.
