This role is a senior engineering appointment of a Solution Architect. Key Responsibilities 1.As per Consultant role : a.Conduct client assignments in a range of areas, but principally within the practice area specialism b.Work on major client change programmes with significant organisational impact and defining the front-end business process and change requirements c.Carry out business development and bid management activities as required, majoring on the front-end definition and creation of business value propositions, both for clients and Parity d.Manage client relationships, employing communication and negotiation techniques as appropriate e.Take on career management responsibilities as appropriate and feasible 2.Lead and review a wide range of client assignments and bids, both as a single consultant and as part of a team 3.Develop and maintain service offers for the practice specialism, both for the Consultancy Group and Business Solutions as a whole, working with Solutions Business Unit Managers to determine market and sector viability. 4.Generate thought leadership relevant to the practice specialism, based on knowledge and analysis of market issues and developments, and work with the Solutions Marketing team to determine appropriate presentation and publication channels. 5.Based on a thorough knowledge of industry best practice, determine and maintain “the Parity methodology” for the delivery of consulting engagements in the relevant practice area. 6.Work with Sales, Marketing and Business Unit Managers to develop general approaches to market for the relevant practice area, and to initiate specific, tactical business generation activities. 1st IT People Limited is acting as an Employment Agency and/or Employment Business
